Nessa is the queen of California airwaves. She began her radio career as an intern at San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9 while she was studying political science at UC Cal Berkeley. Throughout her career, she has worked her way up the ranks and now controls the San Francisco and Oakland airwaves with her nightly prime time radio show “Nessa’s Night Show.” Currently her voice can be heard on over 22 markets nationwide stretching across time zones from Portland, to Rochester, NY. As a young child, Nessa lived on an American compound in Saudi Arabia with her family during the Gulf War. As bombs went off all around her, she learned to deal with fear and insecurity at a young age. When she returned to the US at age 11, she was forced to adapt back to the American culture. Struggling in school, she found her voice through music and has never looked back. The multifaceted Nessa is a fresh face to the world of television, where you can see her on MTV’s Girl Code and as an after show host on Real World EX-Plosion. Both MTV and WiLD 94.9 have given her the opportunity to interview numerous high-profile musicians including Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Kendrick Lamar, Iggy Azalea, Drake and many more. Even more impressive (and yes – there is more!), she is the only female On-Air Personality in a major market to have her own night show currently in the Top 40 rhythm format. Nessa lives and thrives in the SF Bay Area where she continues to help redefine young, cool and fun across her various array of media platforms.
