With winter coming to an end and spring on the horizon, we're seeing new trends coming into focus everyday. Incorporating different trends into each of your wardrobes - weekend, work and play, can be a great way to let your style shine everyday of the week.
Wedges add height and style to any outfit.
They’re a versatile shoe that can be worn with just about everything and come in fun styles such as leather, cork, rope and our favorite: wood. When the warmer weather is upon us, these can be paired with a simple sundress or your favorite white jeans and flowy floral top for a fun night out. We (and SELF Magazine, January edition) like the Jeanine Snake Printed Wedge from Tory Burch.
Embrace the lace.
Lacy tops and cardigans have been seen everywhere lately – and rightfully so; lace adds a feminine touch to almost anything. Lace made it’s presence on the runway quite a bit and can be translated in your everyday wardrobe. I just bought a great oversized slub cotton lavender tank with lace panels and have paired with and contrasting darker colored tank underneath and skinny dark denim. This deep scoop back lacy top from Blue Life did an edgy take on a lacy top.

Orange has made it big this season and can be seen on everything from bags to dresses. You can incorporate orange into your wardrobe in a number of ways. If you don’t feel like branching out too far with this trend, styling it in pieces will still make a statement. A thin orange patent belt over a neutral colored tunic with skinny jeans or wearing bold orange flats make this trend easy for anyone to pull off. This simple bright cashmere Florence cardigan from Tory Burch will make any outfit right on trend.

Ruffles, ruffles and more ruffles.
Let’s face it; ruffles are here to stay. On tops, they’re great poking out of a classic tailored blazer and add a cutsey edge on the hem of an above the knee skirt. When wearing ruffles, they become the main focus of your outfit. A simple tee with some ruffle on one of the shoulders is an easy way to show your girly side or an all over ruffle dress is great with a cropped twill jacket. We’re in love with this silk ruffle dress from Parker.
