Deck the Hall with San Francisco Symphony

PlumpJack "Decked the Hall" last week with the San Francisco Symphony. Community businesses, schools and not for profits from around San Francisco joined together in decorating trees that lined the windows looking over Van Ness and Grove Streets. After a Tree Lighting Ceremony on Wednesday, December 3rd, children from all around the Bay Area gathered on Sunday, December 6th, to learn about holiday music from around the world. Performances, led by Conductor Randall Craig Fleischer and the San Francisco Symphony, included the San Francisco Boys Chorus, American Conservatory Theater, San Francisco Ballet Trainee Program, Chhandam Youth Company and The New Klezmorim. Proceeds from the event benefit the San Francisco Symphony and its education and community program, such as Deck the Hall Community Day, when the Deck the Hall performance is repeated free of charge for 2,000 underserved children.
