2007 CADE Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain 95 pts
This is our very first release of this wine. When we had purchased this vineyard back in 2005 no other winery had ever made wine from this phenomenal site so not only is this the first Estate Cabernet Sauvignon produced by CADE but it is the very first wine produced and released from our Estate. Also of note, the very first PlumpJack Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was the 1995 vintage and it also received 95 points and we all know the path that PlumpJack has gone down. Needless to say we are extremely excited about our first Parker rating but even more excited to taste future vintages of this wine as our vineyard matures and evolves.

Once again Mr. Parker marvels at our selection of vineyards to blend into this wine making it one of Napa Valley’s finest values.
2007 CADE Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain 90+ pts
While reading Mr. Parker’s review of our third bottling of our Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon one sentence really stands out; “..is closed at present, but appears to be loaded with potential.” This note really stands out because of the + symbol associated with the score. This is certainly a wine of remarkable opulence and intensity and we can’t wait to release and taste this wine next summer when it is released with a tad more bottle age.
2007 PlumpJack Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 99 pts
Yeah, not much we can say here. Back in December of 2007 we knew we had a special wine being barreled down and it is so exciting to see two+ years of detailed work pay off with such high praises. This is our highest score we have ever received by a full 3 points by Parker. This score makes us so happy. With all that being said, please remember we only made 500 cases of this wine and it will be released September 2010.

This is the highest rated PlumpJack Estate Cabernet Sauvignon we have received to date. It also happens to be our wine with the largest production at PlumpJack but at the same time the most sought after. With a retail price point of $78/bottle it is tough to find a better value.
2007 PlumpJack Syrah 93+ pts
Beyond the 93+ point score given to our Syrah by Mr. Parker are the flattering remarks noted in his tasting notes; “One of Napa Valley’s finest Syrah’s is PlumpJack’s offering”. The PlumpJack Syrah is not a favorite amongst our loyal customers for nothing.

Did we read this correctly? A Merlot that received 92 points? No way, could it be? Well don’t act so surprised, it’s delicious, always has been and we are looking forward to its resurgence.
