CADE Winery is the latest property from PlumpJack. A sister winery to PlumpJack, CADE is an environmentally sensitive winery that is striving to acheive Gold LEED certification. Located on Howell Mountain at 1,800 feet elevation, 21 acres are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The cuvee is 76% Cabernet Sauvignon and 23% Merlot. The fruit is sourced from some of the Valley's top vineyards.

The Martini House has got to be *the* definitively "rustic" restaurant around St. Helena. I recall being there around 2002 and having their spaetzle -- it was amazing. But, take note, you'll want to add 15 minutes to your visit there so that you can "take in" their wine list -- it's much more than just comprehensive. I recall that they had some very obscure Trefethens that I'd never heard of.
